Hey Flipped group!!!!!!!!!!
What did you guys think in your mind when you were on the bottom of page 25 and the text said "When the bus dropped us off that afternoon, Juli was gone and so was half the tree. The top of the branches, the place my kite was stuck, her favorite perch-they were all gone."
I personally thought it was scary for Bryce and he actually felt sorry for Juli even though he'd always hate her, because the tree she'd always loved was all gone.

(p.s. sorry this is only on page 25 I should of posted this earlier)

  1. Hey Joy,

It is alright. I think this is a critical moment in the development of the relationship between Juli and Bryce. As you pointed out this might be the beginning of Bryce starting to think or care about how Juli feels. What do you think? Does it give you any clues or predictions of what might happen?

  2. Hey Joy: Mr. Bowen is right. The tree (like the eggs) are really important to the relationship between Juli and Bryce. Owen (who has read ahead in my copy of the book) tells me the sycamore comes up again. I'm looking forward to it!
